Bungay Voices (formerly Bungay Choral Society) plus the school choirs from Ellingham and Woodton, combined for another enjoyable concert in St.Mary's Church. An eclectic programme of music selection by the musical director, Jason Collins, made full use of the range of all the voices, whatever age, and accompanied by Helen Morgan, the singers' obvious enjoyment was shared by the large audience. A piano solo, entitled Song of Twilight was given by the very young Brynley Morgan, whilst Emily Winter did special accompaniments on the flute and saxophone. The music chosen ranged from the Kyrie (Armed Man) by Jenkins to well-known favourites from children's films, the largest offering of folk and tradition songs from Rutter's 'Sprig of Thyme' being an apt choice for a beautiful May evening. The finale of Look at the World, again by Rutter, was present from a full stage by all the performers and deserved the loud applause it received from everyone in the church.
