Graduating from UEA back in 2007 with a Music degree Jason naturally thought that would be his chosen career. Little did he know that 10+ years on he would have had amazing opportunities which have led to the creation of such a diverse working week!
It all began during what proved to be his last year running The Fisher Theatre (Bungay). During a conversation with Annabel & Rupert, who own Earsham Hall, the subject of the Tearooms there came up, and for some wonderful reason, he ended up running it! And this is how a whole new career began. It proved not possible to continue at the theatre as he was struggling to divide his time with these two full time commitments so he took the leap into the unknown and became self employed, back in 2015.
In addition to the Tearooms he has become Events Coordinator for Earsham Hall, as right hand man to Annabel Stretton-Derham. Jason also runs an outside catering company, Holbrook Catering, with his Mum 'Tracy' and when not hosting functions he is teaching Piano to a number of musicians throughout the week. Musically he thrives on tutoring students for exams and performances as well as being Musical Director.
And finally, whenever free time features, it is normally spent with ‘Truffle’ the Labradoodle at a beach somewhere!
